Own Yourself

How is life treating you? Are you creating all that you want to create? Are you fulfilling the dreams you have in your heart? Are you blessing those you want to bless?
If you are not able to answer these questions the way you would like to answer them, I have some suggestions for you.
Are you Owning Who You Are? After you take inventory of all the skills, talents, abilities, education, life experience and everything you have, are you truly standing up for yourself and owning who you are?
Too many people instead of owning who they are, seem to be making excuses for who they are. Statements are made such as "I can't start my own business because I don't have enough money." Or, "I can't have a quality relationship because I've been hurt in the past." Or, any other statement that is made that would give an excuse for not living life fully.
Here's a suggestion: take inventory of who you are, the education you have, the skills and talents you have been blessed with and your life experience you have and tell yourself and the world "THIS IS WHO I AM!!!!" Do not apologize for who you are. Yes you have made mistakes in the past, but we all have. You have made some pains in life, we all have. It's these mistakes and pains in life that allow you to identify and be real with those around you so that you can reach Your Purpose in Life.
On your road to Your Destiny, there are potholes. There are setbacks. There are detours. But, these events do not define who you are. They simply are tools for you to identify with life. When people hear your story, they think, "Wow, that sounds familiar. I remember going through that myself." These are what allow you to relate with people so that Your Vision can be fulfilled.
I can relate. I look back at my life and many times I wonder what it is that I have that relates with people around me. From my perspective, I don't have many good stories because I lived through them and they don't seem good to me. However, these exact stories are what allow me to relate to people.
I am no longer ashamed of who I am. My experiences have made me who I am. I own who I am. I know My Purpose. I know My Vision. I know My Destiny. Do you know yours?
