The greatest experts at anything have failed before and finally succeeded. With that said, I begin this article. Real experts are simply people who did not quit at the first few failures, discouraged. Real experts understand how to fail as well as how to succeed, and never get discouraged, but, they just understand better how and why to succeed, even after many attempts and temporary failures.
When I think about the nature of "genuine failure", I realize that there is only real success when you do not quit. Genuine failure only comes and shows its ugly head when you do really give up. So, I will say this most profitable and logical sentence now: No genuine expert is ever really as successful as they can be on the first try, and if they are successful on the first try, it is luck, not expert skill and full understanding of what is being done.
Sure, people get lucky sometimes, and people win wealth through getting all the lottery numbers sometimes. But is that genuine expert skill? Not at all. It is luck, not skill, and it does not matter what connotation or spin is put on the reality of this. Skill is a permanent thing, luck just shows up fortunately. A skillful fortune can be repeated, a lucky fortune cannot usually be repeated with such certainty. I did not say that it is not possible, but not with the certainty of skill.
The finest thinking and action comes from full understanding and skill, which comes from understanding how to fail as well as how to succeed. Real skillful success is mastery at best, lucky success is a fortunate fluke at worst. The point to that sentence is that to know and understand what you are doing is best, to just happen into what you are doing in a "good" way is worst. Easy come, easy go is the saying. Hard come through skill and understanding and hard go through skill and understanding, it stays with you if you are genuinely an expert is the reality.
So, I am saying without fear that the more genuine skill and mastery you have, the better overall genuinely is the life of everyone. So, an expert without that genuine skill and mastery is nothing more than a lucky poser who can look the part. But, when there is genuine skill and knowledge that gets things genuinely done, that is an expert with genuine skill and mastery. Sure, to an extent I repeat myself throughout the article in different ways, but the message of reality is clear: Be a genuine expert in reality, not a lucky poser who gets burned by reality.
