Do you ever feel like there is not enough time in the day? Do you find yourself unable to achieve everything you set out to achieve in a day... in a week... in a month... in a year?
You may have thought that "having enough time" is your issue. I am here to tell you that may not be the case!
There are many in the world today who have achieved incredible levels of success with the same amount of time given to them as you. Many are living out their dreams as you are reading this!
WHY NOT YOU?
What is the difference between you and them?
What do you need to do to cover the distance between where you are today and the materializing of your dreams?
INCREASE YOUR EFFECTIVENESS!
To be effective means to be successful in producing a desired or intended result.
Allow me to provide a brief overview of what actually enables this amazing transformation to take place. There are 4 basic factors at play that will make you ten times more effective:
1. Value System
2. Daily Habit Regiment
3. Focus
4. Fitness
Your choices in life are what create value. Any lack of value or quality in any aspect of your life can be traced back to a choice.
What is the value system that you use to make your choices?
If you do not have a clear value system by which you make choices, then know that much of your effectiveness is lost simply because of this.
Not having a value system that dictates your choices leaves you open to be constantly influenced by your environment. This reality cripples your ability to be consistent. How can you be effective if you are inconsistent?
A daily habit regiment is a powerful tool. How can you produce a successful life if you do not know how to produce a successful day?
A daily habit regiment allows for you to identify what has to happen in a single day for that day to be successful. If you can have a successful day and then have 30 more consecutive successful days, then you have had a successful month! 365 successful days will give you a successful year! If you can do this 50 more times, then you will have a successful life!
Remember life is predictable.
Step 1 is to identify these habits of success.
Step 2 is to create a recording and tracking system so that you can evaluate your day, month and year based on these habits.
Step 3 is to evaluate yourself weekly so that you can identify your weaknesses, clarify why you are failing at executing any particular habit and strategize to overcome failure.
Focus has been traditionally understood as that which you pay attention to intently. I challenge you to reconsider this idea of what focus is!
Focus is not deciding on what you should pay attention to but instead deciding on what you should not pay attention to.
Every day is constantly evolving in its own unique way. There are thoughts that come to mind, conversations that are brought to you, situations that develop, and pressures that come about or evolve.
What you have to do is identify what you do not need to pay attention to or think about. If you have a clear value system and a highly intentional daily regiment for success, then these choices become very clear.
Because they become very clear, they are much easier to make!
The previous points had to with increasing your effectiveness in time.
This final point has to do with increasing your effectiveness using time.
Fitness has to do with making the most of your time.
Those that achieve incredibly levels of success ALWAYS outwork their competitors.
It is vital to make demands on every minute of your life to produce something that will add to your life and contribute to both your short term and long term goals!
